Decorating The Urban Enviro
A few days ago, Ellen Moynihan and a few friends redecorated the subways (mainly the F line). It took her and her friends only 40 minutes to re-outfit the entire subway with welcome mats, rugs, and un-advertisements.

Read her blog post about it.

This reminded me of an Ikea Marketing Campaign I read about some time ago.

The campaign: Ikea redecorates a bus stop and other urban areas with their furniture.

My favorite comment: “That’s not a bus shelter, it’s a $600/month studio apartment with lots of outdoor space.” In New York, that’s not so far from the truth.
