Converting RSS to HTML or Javascript
I just read this great article. It provides lots of resources and links that explains how to convert RSS feeds to HTML.
If you don’t know what an RSS feed is, check out this earlier post – it includes a video that I did not shoot and has someone else explain it.
Otherwise, make sure you read this article by following the [LINK]
There are many reasons why you may want to convert an RSS feed (instead of placing it into an RSS aggregator).
1. You want new content on YOUR website automatically updated.
2. This could help with your site’s SEO (search engine optimization)
3. You don’t have to do much work to get your site spiffied up.
4. Or maybe you want to provide other people with free + fresh HTML code to put on their site – kind of like a favor for your friends…
Here are a few free services that allow you to convert RSS feeds into HTML or javascript:
BuzzBoost on Feedburner
Feedsweep
RSS-to-Javascript
RSS FeedReader
